The role
As a Senior Account Executive, you are a key driver of our commercial growth. You are fully responsible for acquiring new customers in the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments and for achieving (and exceeding) your annual new business targets.
With your experience in SaaS sales and your ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics, you guide prospects confidently from the first conversation through to contract signature. You work closely with Marketing, BDR’s, and Customer Success to create the best possible experience for prospects.
Responsibilities and tasks
New business sales
- Achieve and consistently exceed your annual sales target (ARR).
- Own the full end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos & solution design, proposal & negotiation, and closing.
- Build and manage a predictable pipeline and forecast (HubSpot).
Stakeholder management & deal strategy
- Navigate complex organizations with multiple DMU stakeholders (HR, IT, Finance, C-level).
- Build strong relationships and internal champions within prospect organizations.
- Develop business cases, ROI justifications, and decision-support documentation.
Internal collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing & BDR’s on inbound and outbound campaigns.
- Provide input to Product and Marketing based on customer needs and market insights.
- Ensure a careful and professional handover to Customer Success.
Market & domain expertise
- Become an expert in HR performance, talent development, and employee engagement.
- Monitor and translate market trends and competitive dynamics into opportunities.
- Represent Dialog at events, webinars, and customer-facing activities.
Profile and experience
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–5 years of proven closing experience as a sales professional within an (international) SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding new business targets.
- Data-driven: strong discipline in CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills (Dutch and English).
- Self-starter, strong relationship builder, commercially sharp, and a go-getter.
- A high-energy “hunter mindset with a farmer’s charisma.”
- Experience with sales methodologies (SPICE, MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with the HR tech domain.
- Experience in a fast-growing SaaS scale-up.
- Experience with HubSpot and sales enablement tools.
