As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced and driven product leader to spearhead Dialog’s success alongside the product & tech team, CEO, and Commercial Director. Our journey has been marked by significant and profitable growth, transitioning from a founder-led to a scale-up model, all with the backing of Visma, a leading and rapidly expanding European tech company.

The Role and team

The Head of Product will be managing the current team of product- and tech people, in total 12 team members with 5 nationalities, all on site in Utrecht. We are data driven and are fully invested in AI as part of the tech stack and way of working. We work with innovative technologies and are focused on fast-paced delivery of software that makes an impact.

The Head of Product is responsible for our product vision and execution to deliver value to our customers and partners in the market. Important priorities are to build a solid product foundation that drives success, combined with an inspiring vision to expand our thought leadership in the world of HR performance and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team and be a people leader, driving high performance with happy employees (E-NPS)
  • Hire key players and leverage technology in line with your strategy that will help us achieve our (product) ambition and BHAG
  • Have and develop a strong vision on the needed product (team) foundation for Dialog and implement this in the coming years
  • Establish and iterate our product strategy that is inspiring and unique, in line with our overall strategy, and with measurable success and value for customers
  • Lead the company together with the CEO and other functional leaders; be the connection between product, development and the rest of the teams
  • Translate the vision into a tangible product roadmap and concrete initiatives and deliverables
  • Make sure to make an impact in all we do, continuously delivering customer value by using clear KPIs and definitions of success
  • Define and continuously improve product discovery and development processes while having an innovative mindset and approach.

What You’ll Bring

  • Completed Bachelor degree or equivalent, preferably in a relevant field (technology, psychology, design, business)
  • At least 5 to 8 years of product- and people management experience, with at least 2 years product leadership experience
  • Core understanding of software development and technologies, experience with B2B SaaS (HR experience is a plus) as well as experience with agile methodologies
  • Proven success in building and managing high-performing product/tech teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Data-driven and customer focused
  • A proactive, results-oriented approach and a strong sense of initiative
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Based in or willing to commute to Utrecht, The Netherlands.
